Orlando Indoor Soccer Facility

High Soccer Arena is an indoor soccer facility based in Orlando, FL. They offer programs such as adult pickup and leagues, kids classes, and leagues, and kids birthday parties. They have also begun to offer their premium fields to baseball, basketball, and volleyball events.

Project Summary

High Soccer Arena had mostly relied on their great social media audience to generate foot traffic and customers in addition to partnering with local soccer clubs. While that gave them a great base, they came to us seeking to expand their reach and capture organic traffic. It was too hard to find them doing a simple google search and they were down in page 2 for a core keyword for at least a year.

Project Strategy

Part of the package for this case was a newly designed and optimized website that would be findable organically. This included a revamped site architecture specifically targeting those niche specific core keywords such as “indoor soccer Orlando.”

We really wanted to WOW visitors when they first landed on the home page. The modern, transparent header is not a common sight for businesses in the sports industry, and we wanted to change that. It also gives a great view of the facility and some of the extra features inside. When scrolling down, the header becomes a dark grey with an orange border for separation and sticks to the top making navigation simple.

During usability testing, users often complained at how complicated the site navigation was and how unclear it was to get to certain programs. The solution here was to clearly organice and compare the different programs in one location and contain the content and page links within a modern card design.

Similar to the program confusion, the kids soccer programs were unclear and frustrated users. A similar approach to the modern cards were used for this section, however, emphasis was placed that this was a purchasable package and users were encouraged to register their child.

Matching the header color scheme and border design, the footer kept many of the same features as the original, but we added a map and an overall better organization of the content.

The Results (so far)

In terms of the goals, results have been achieved very quickly. These charts are taken from ahrefs.com, which provides a historical data set since we only started working with Arena in late May 2020. The charts are very encouraging considering the massive spikes in traffic, keyword capture, and traffic value.
